Kirsta Hiser, PhD

Consultant & Facilitator, Sustainability & Higher Education  Strategist

Krista Hiser brings deep expertise in sustainability education, facilitation, and systems-level strategic planning to The Good Juju Co. With more than two decades of experience in higher education leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and organizational development, she helps institutions and organizations navigate complex challenges through thoughtful facilitation, strategic planning, and collaborative process design.

A tenured Full Professor at Kapiʻolani Community College and former Director of the UH System Center for Sustainability Across the Curriculum, Krista specializes in sustainability education strategy, higher education consulting, climate resilience planning, faculty engagement, curriculum development, accreditation support, and organizational systems change.

Her work focuses on helping organizations build meaningful, interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability, resilience, and long-term impact through facilitation, program development, evaluation, and collaborative leadership.

When she’s not facilitating conversations or helping institutions navigate sustainability and systems change, Krista enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring ideas across disciplines, connecting with community, and finding inspiration in Hawaiʻi’s natural environments. She believes meaningful change happens through collaboration, curiosity, and creating spaces where people and ideas can thrive together.
