Malani Papa DeAguiar brings deep ʻike Hawaiʻi, cultural grounding, and decades of educational and community leadership experience to The Good Juju Co. A respected Native Hawaiian educator, cultural practitioner, and advisor, she helps organizations and communities center Hawaiian language, values, history, and ways of knowing within facilitation, engagement, education, and planning processes.

With a career spanning more than 35 years across Hawaiʻi’s educational systems and community organizations, Malani specializes in cultural advising, curriculum development, community engagement, facilitation support, and values-based leadership grounded in aloha ʻāina and ʻike kupuna.

Her experience includes leadership roles with Kamehameha Schools, the Hawaiʻi Department of Education, Hawaiian language and culture programs, and numerous community-based initiatives focused on education, cultural preservation, and Native Hawaiian well-being. She is known for creating spaces rooted in respect, relationship-building, and authentic cultural practice.

Malani’s work helps ensure that projects and engagement processes are grounded not only in strategy and outcomes, but also in place, people, history, and cultural integrity.
